Looking for models that do not look like models …?
I am a student photographer. I am looking to work with models that do not look like models for number of projects. What is the best way to achieve this? Is there a place I should start? What models expect from me as regards the compensation?
You might want to advertise on a school newspaper, and / or place ads on bulletin boards in school. Since you is starting, people should donate their time and effort, unless you reach the point of actually getting paid yourself, and / or having their work published. You could offer models impressions of their work after the work is completed, to thank them. In this way they feel like they are getting something for their time, and also could be beneficial for them in their own quest as a future model or professional quality. Lights, camera, action !!!…
