Can I get compensation for getting sick on the job?
I work in very poor conditions and they made us go outside and inside repeatedly today, from 30 degree weather to 75 inside and now I have a fever. Anything legal?
Each State has their own Workers’ Compensation laws so you need to ask a lawyer in your State. I suggest you search like “Texas workers’ comp” or “New York workers comp” or whatever. I doubt that any will cover what you have and besides pay benefits don’t usually start until after the first seven days off. Might want to consider using sick days and company health care insurance (if they have it). I know you’re really mad at them for doing this to you but you have to decide whether you want the job or start looking for another one. Good luck.
